Welcome to the world of Pfeiffer Custom Cabinets & Doors, an all-Canadian company dedicated to providing the finest in hardwood cabinetry, panelling, door & trim products.
All of our cabinets are one-of-a-kind pieces, designed, built, pre-finished and installed to your requirements. Using our in-house CAD system, we can create (and modify) scale drawings of your project so that you can preview it before putting it into production.
Our experience with Home Office Centres enables us to design ventilation, cabling and connection flexibility into each piece. Retract doors, magnetic touch latches, pull-out keyboard shelves, TV pull-out/swivel platforms (or even remote-controlled raise/lower mechanisms) are all available.
Our stain/finish process can include wash-coat, stain, sealer plus one or two top-coats of catalyzed lacquer, all patiently hand-sanded between coats. This process results in a dust-free, durable finish far superior to what can be achieved with ordinary on-site stain/varnish.
Colour is not limited to the 100+ shades we have on hand. We can match your sample.
Because our panelling and cabinets are shop-built and pre-finished, they can be quickly installed with minimal site disruption, normally within one day.

Features of a Pfeiffer cabinet project:
- Each of our cabinets is made one at a time by experienced craftsmen. Our cabinets are NOT made on a mass-produced basis by semi-skilled piece-workers.
- All our cabinets are designed with the aid of our in-house CAD program. This ensures that the drawings I produce are accurate - and will fit the space for which they are intended.
- Upper cabinet shelves can be SOLID WOOD, not simply veneer on particle core. Our shelves will not sag over time.
- All door hinges are Blum all-metal lifetime guaranteed clip-on hinges. All shelf-support pins are solid brass. All drawer slides are top-quality Accuride.
- All solid show wood - including crown moulding, cabinet doors, gable edges and nosing is hand sanded to remove cross-grain scratches and milling machine marks.
- Our in-house finishing process comprises 6 steps - stain, sealer, plus two coats of lacquer - all patiently hand-sanded between coats. This results in a furniture finish far superior to what is achievable with an on-site finish, namely no dust, no brush marks and no fumes. Pre-finish also reduces our installation time.
